Walkable Apartments Near Vanderbilt University

If you're planning to live near Vanderbilt, walkability makes life easier. No traffic. No parking stress. You can roll out of bed and be on campus in minutes—or grab coffee in Midtown without needing to Uber.

These apartments are all genuinely walkable to Vandy. We’ve been to each one and can help you narrow down what actually fits your lifestyle. Here's what to know:

1810 Belcourt

Small, quiet building in the middle of Hillsboro Village. You're a block from great coffee and food, and campus is less than a five-minute walk. No big amenities, but great if you want something low-key in the perfect spot.

Elliston 23

Mid-size building on Elliston Place, surrounded by bars, local spots, and a couple of divey music venues. The vibe is social but not overwhelming. The pool is solid, and the gym gets the job done. Easy walk to class or work at the hospital.

Kenect Nashville

Right across the street from campus. Feels like a built-in community with coworking areas, events, a rooftop pool, and a full gym. If you like being around people and having everything in the building, this checks the boxes.

Twenty & Grand

Tucked just off West End, so you’re still close to everything but a little more tucked away. The building feels clean and polished. Quiet vibe, good privacy, and you’re still a short walk to Vandy or Centennial Park.

Abberly Foundry

North of the hospital side of campus—walkable, but you’re right on the edge of what counts. Feels newer and a bit more relaxed than some of the Midtown high-rises. Has great common spaces and a more laid-back energy.

Margaux Midtown

Modern building in Midtown with a rooftop lounge, gym, and a sleek aesthetic. You’re walkable to both Vandy and the nightlife. Good for someone who wants a stylish place without going full luxury high-rise.

Note 16

Just off Music Row. Chill energy, smaller scale. You can walk to campus or the hospital, but you're also right near studios and live music spots. A quieter building in a creative neighborhood.

Camden Music Row

High-rise with strong amenities—rooftop lounge, pool, gym, even a soundproof jam room. Location puts you right between campus and the nightlife strip. Pricey, but it’s one of the few that delivers on both style and convenience.

LOCAL Midtown

Upscale building in Midtown with big shared spaces—sky deck, coworking, music studio, pool with cabanas. You’re close to everything: West End, Music Row, Vandy, and downtown. Feels more social and design-forward.

Infinity Midtown

Clean, modern, and in a great location. Less over-the-top than some of the others, but has everything you’d expect: gym, pool, and fast access to Vanderbilt, Music Row, and the Gulch.

The Morris

Sophisticated look and strong skyline views. The rooftop pool and lounge are a highlight. A short walk to class, but also close to restaurants and live music. Definitely feels like a grown-up place.

Duet Apartments

Right near Centennial Park and walkable to Vanderbilt. Smaller-scale than most Midtown properties, but well-kept with a peaceful vibe. Has a pool, gym, and solid location if you don’t need all the flash.
